National Library Week

National Library Week is April 4th - 9th
Help us Celebrate!

  • Our seed library starts up again, with more variety than last year (many varieties of pepper, including Ghost Pepper, flowers for feeding pollinators, a few herbs, and of course vegetables).

  • The annual ongoing Easter Egg hunt starts! Some eggs contain candy/stickers but the fun is in the finding. Kids who find the most eggs will get a special prize. The egg hunt ends Friday the 15th.

  • Check out our new, huge I Spy display in the front windows. Hundreds of objects are put together a beautiful and fascinating scene. See if you can find all of the objects on our list. This year's theme is "The Enchanted Forest."

  • Beautiful paper flowers crafts are available for all ages to do all week, at no charge.
  • A Food for Fines drive will allow people do donate nonperishable goods and hygiene supplies in lieu of paying their overdue fines. A $1.50 credit towards fines will be applied for each item donated, limit $10. This applies to overdue fines only, and is not applicable for lost and damaged items. All donations will be given to the Green Lake Food Pantry.
