Mystery Book Club-The Last Days of Night

Readers of Devil in the White City will enjoy picking up May's book choice, The Last Days of Night, a historical thriller about the race to provide electricity to America. New York, 1888, gaslights still light the streets but electric light is beginning to be recgonized for its splendor. Paul Cravath an untested lawyer is but to the test, his George Westinghouse is being sued by Thomas Edison. Who really invented the light bulb? Discussion and breakfast treats will begin at 9am.
