SRP: Scott Obermann, Magician

Scott presents school shows for all-school assemblies or lyceum that are both entertaining and educational. Reading, Nutrition, Character Building, and Geography are the topics covered in the various shows available. Scott also has a show designed for Christian schools that incorporates faith.

Scott's educational background as well as his work and recreational background have given him a wonderul foundation to work from. He combines a fun personality, enthusiasm for the topic, and an energetic style with his inate ability to entertain an audience of any age. Children love his antics, and teachers love the way he interacts with the students during his show.

Using his skills as an illusionist or 'magician' and ventriloquist, Scott will grab the attention of the students and engage them in the act of learning. Fun games, puppets magic tricks or music are the tools used to capture the students attention. The teaching is fun, fast-paced, and full of imagery-- involving as many senses as possible to maximize the learning and retention of key concepts.

This is a free program. Fun for kids of all ages. All are welcome, visitors & local patrons alike. Here is your chance to experience just how much Libraries Rock!
