Robin Wallenfang, a Green Lake artist, has made 5 trips to Panama with other volunteers to work with Father Wally Kasuboski on his many projects at the mission in Panama. Their current project is building a dam to help supply fresh mountain water to more than 4000 people in the villages in and around Torti, a mountainous jungle area in the east end of the country. She will share a photo-journal and other information about her experiences working with Father Wally and other volunteers at a library program Wednesday, December 12, 6:30 – 7:30. Father Wally has been living and working in the jungles of Panama for the last 24 years. There will be 40 people traveling to Panama again in January to continue work on the dam. Charitable gifts for Father are welcome, and received with much gratitude and blessings and you're invited to send along a Christmas card for him! All are welcome and refreshments will be served tonight.
