Purple Loosestrife Invasive Species Conversation

Krista Kamke from Golden Sands, a conversation and nature development non-for-profit, has recently set up a site for growing beetles in the library's backyard. The reason to help elimate the invasive plant, the purple loosestrife, from our area lakes. Kamke will be doing a presentation on this project and would love to explain about her work with aquatic invasive species in the community. This short program will appeal to kids and adults alike, and will get all a little more informed about the world we live in.
