"Little Bee" by Chris Cleave was a slow burn best seller in 2009, and we are excited to be discussing it 5 years later. It follows two main characters, Little Bee, a Nigerian young woman looking for asylum in England. She reconnects with Sarah O'Rouke a Bristish journalist while in England. Their first meeting on a beach in Nigeria proves to be the catalyst for their relationship. A serious novel about human dicency, you will enjoy our discussion and potluck. Books are available at the circulation desk.
