Led by retired Kindergarten teacher, Grandma Helene, this storytime, intended for 2-4 year olds is the perfect way to get your kids ready for going to school. Storytime includes reading, crafts, and snacks and it a great opportunity to develop literacy, vocabulary, dexterity, and social skills among young children.

Jay Dampier from UW Extension will be leading a basic introduction workshop to garden tree maintenance. Learn about the best ways to keep your trees growing healthy, tall, and strong, and when to cut them down to make room for other plants. Jay will also provide time for questions and answers, so bring your own tree issues and have them explained.

The Friends are hosting their annual Book Sale on Saturday May 14th. There you buy not only books, but movies and CDS as well. The Friends are currently taking donations for the sale, so if youa re looking to downsize your material collection, we will gladly take titles off you hands. The Sale will be held at the library from 9am-1pm.
