The Mystery Book Discussion Group is back and this month they are discussing and parsing Bradford Marrow's "The Forgers." This novel starts off with a bang when rare book dealer Adam Diehl is found dead on the floor of his home, hands servered surrounded by invaluable works. Adam's sister Meghan and her lover, Will—a convicted if unrepentant literary forger—struggle to come to terms with the seemingly incomprehensible murder. Books are available at the circulation desk; the discussion begins with tasty baked goods at 9am.
A night like no other. Celebrate the Summer Reading Program with our very special guest Incredible Bats. Daniel and Sharon Peterson, along with their Egyptian Fruit Bats and African Straw-colored Bats, have been educating people about bats since 1996. While Batman is fighting crime in Gotham City our heroic furry flying friends are fighting to save the rain forests and other eco-systems. This multi-media program is great for children of all ages.
