Art Chair-ity fundraiser

The Princeton Public Library inherited fifty-plus dining room chairs from the Country Cafe.  They've sat around for awhile, but are about to return to active duty as part of fund raising efforts for the Princeton Public Library's future expansion.  Mary Pulvermacher, a summer library volunteer, has been busy "workin' at the chair wash," getting them ready for local artists and crafts people to turn them into chairs of art for the library's Art Chair-ity fundraiser.  If you paint, carve, mosaic, decoupage, weave, quilt, sculpt...please stop by the library to pick up a chair or

Library Friends @ the Flea Market Concession Saturday, July 16

Library Friends @ the Flea Market Concession Saturday, July 16

The Princeton Library Friends will host concessions at the Flea Market Saturday, July 16.  You can support this worthy group in several ways.  First, there’s a volunteer sign-up sheet at the library’s front desk—many hands make light work—to work a few hours that day.  You could also be sure to stop by the stand that Saturday for a delicious hot off the grill sandwich or an icy cold liquid refreshment.  This is one of the Friends' most important fundraisers.  We are grateful for
